The Face Railings feature portraits of 72 local people.
Hundreds of portraits were made by Stephen Johnson, Sonia Martin, Michelle Rowland and Julie Sassoon. These artists held portrait sittings at Mulberry School for Girls, Shapla Primary School, The Aldgate Hostel for Single Homeless People, Willis Corroon, Nat West Bank PLC, Spacia, Trowers and Hamlyn, Liverpool Street Station and on neighbouring Streets.
Oona King, the constituency MP for the area is also featured.
